The following websites are for Help and Support. For if you need help with a specific issue, either related to your leaving Christianity or something else just without the religious baggage Christian support services provide. If you need help with anything, please please PLEASE reach out to someone. If you're looking for something in particular and you can't find it here, please contact the group or an admin, we can help you find what you need. There are always options, and you should never feel bad for asking.

If you are feeling sad, depressed, lonely, or lost I urge you to contact someone. Those feelings are completely natural and normal for someone going through the loss of religion and all the stress that can comes with such a potentially large life change. If you are having thoughts of suicide or self harm please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) (in the US, or please find the number in your area). There is always someone who will listen.

Before you go to a religious group or individual for help, consider finding a secular option. While your pastor may be able to provide a temporary relief with comforting words, they are not qualified therapists, doctors, or even necessarily particularly wise individuals; they are just people who read a silly old book. Seek help which will actually help you (so not just prayer), and doesn't have "spiritual" strings attached. And do not feel ashamed, guilty, or bad (like you may have been indoctrinated to think growing up) regardless of your situation, there is nothing wrong with asking for help, we ALL need help sometimes.

Check back as this list will expand and be updated as new info is found. If you have recommendations, questions, concerns, or just found something interesting you want to share that is relevant to the listed sites, feel free to comment in this journal.
